Like many people around the world who are concerned about preserving our environment, we believe that governments should be looking after our precious old growth forests rather than allowing them to be turned into piles of woodchip. Currently, woodchip from Australia is shipped to Asian countries where it is used to make cardboard boxes and paper. We believe that this is an appalling outcome for trees which have taken centuries to grow, and that there is much greater value in their preservation."
